CARLOS M. SÁNCHEZ LA COSTA
Mr. Sánchez La Costa practices in the following areas of law: Personal Injury, Federal Criminal Law, Commercial Litigation, Civil Litigation, Products Liability, Government Litigation and Civil Rights. He has vast experience representing individuals against insurance companies and large corporations and representing individuals accused of federal law violations in the U.S. District Court for the District of Puerto Rico. Mr. Sánchez La Costa is admitted to practice law in the State of New York and the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico.
Mr. Sánchez La Costa earned his Juris Doctor from Yale Law School in 1990, where he was a Senior Editor of the Yale Law Review and a Managing Editor of the Yale Journal of International Law. Mr. Sánchez La Costa also clerked for the Honorable Gilberto Gierbolini, U.S. District Court for Puerto Rico (1990-1991) and for the Honorable Juan R. Torruella, U.S. Court of Appeals for the First Circuit (1992-1993).
Mr. Sánchez La Costa attended Vassar College in Poughkeepsie, New York and Mercersburg Academy in Mercersburg, Pennsylvania, where he was a member of the lacrosse team.
